Lifting a car by 2 inches changes the geometry the suspension works in, and the factory shock stops using the travel it has. 24091FEH is a front shock absorber by Ironman 4x4 built for a 2" lift.

Foam Cell is an oil-filled design with a foam insert instead of gas. The Heavy Duty version is meant for cars carrying extra weight — a canopy, a roof rack or a trailer. Working length is 510–310 mm.

Fitting and notes

The shock absorber is sold per piece — one axle needs two. The 510–310 mm figure is the extended and compressed length; it is worth comparing it with what is on your car, because one model often came with several suspension variants.

We fit these in our own workshop in Warsaw. While the car is apart we check the springs, bushings and top mounts — replacing shocks alone is rarely the whole job.

Frequently asked questions

Will it fit a car with standard ride height?
This one is matched to a 2" lift. On a standard car it would work on the wrong part of its travel — for factory height, choose the standard version.

Heavy Duty or Comfort?
Heavy Duty is for a car that carries extra weight all the time. With no permanent load the Comfort version rides better.

How many do I need?
Two per axle. A full set for both axles is four shocks — the rear ones have a different part number.
