Fitting and notes
Attach the rope only to certified recovery points — never to a tow ball or a transport eye. Always lay a damper blanket over the rope.
Frequently asked questions
What breaking strength should I choose?
The rule of thumb is two to three times the vehicle weight. Too strong a rope will not stretch enough, too weak a one will break.
Does a rope wear out?
Yes. Check the sheath and abrasion after every use, and dry the rope before you roll it up.
