Fender flares Ironman 4x4 — Ford Ranger Next-gen (IFF60110XL)

Fender flares cover a wider tyre and protect the paint from stones thrown up by the tread. With a tyre size change or wheel spacers they are often mandatory rather than cosmetic.

Fitting and notes

Some versions mount with adhesive and factory clips, others need drilling. Before fitting, let the flares warm up so they take the shape of the arch.

Frequently asked questions

Is widening the car legal?
The tyre must not stick out beyond the arch — that is exactly what flares are for. A change of overall width is assessed by the inspector.

Can they be painted?
Black plastic versions usually can, with proper surface preparation. A textured finish needs a plastic primer.
