EFS Shock Absorber Mounting Bush — for shocks 37-6204, 38-5652 and 38-5624
An EFS shock absorber mounting bush specified for shocks 37-6204, 38-5652 and 38-5624. At the distributor this number has been superseded by SBK178 (for 37-6204 and 38-5652) and SBK182 (a bush kit for 38-5624), so if 2400911 appears in your paperwork, this is the part.
EFS Shock Absorber Mounting Bush — for shocks 37-6204, 38-5652 and 38-5624
What usually fails first on a shock absorber is not the damping but the rubber in the mount. Play in the bush produces knocking, upsets the way the suspension works and eventually damages the shock eye itself — while a bush costs a fraction of a new damper.
This bush is specified for three EFS shocks: 37-6204, 38-5652 and 38-5624. Worth knowing: the same bushes are now catalogued under newer numbers — SBK178 covers 37-6204 and 38-5652, and SBK182 is a bush kit for 38-5624. Part number 2400911 remains their equivalent.

Who it is for
For owners of EFS shocks 37-6204, 38-5652 or 38-5624 with play or knocking at the mount, and for workshops putting together a suspension service.
Fitting notes
Check the part number on your shock before ordering — the bush is selected by shock number, not by vehicle make and model. Bushes are changed with the shock removed, on both sides of the axle at once.
Why buy it
- An inexpensive service part with a real effect on comfort and suspension precision.
- Unambiguous fitment to the listed EFS shocks.
- Clear supersession information, so an order is easy to verify.
If 2400911 appears in your records, this is the part — just confirm your shock number first.
