The back of a Hilux works harder than the front: a loaded tray, a trailer, the drop from gravel back onto tarmac. The bushes in the rear shock eyes take the brunt of it, and they are usually the first thing to announce themselves with a knock when the truck is empty.
EFS specifies 80 Duro polyurethane for its damper bushes instead of plain rubber. You do not feel the difference on day one — you feel it after a season. Rubber in a shock eye works itself loose under oil and heat; polyurethane keeps its dimensions and does not hand the damper play it never asked for.
