APEX PTI Precision Tire Inflator with Mounting Bracket
The APEX PTI precision tire inflator with a gauge - inflation and pressure reading in one tool. Accurate to +/- 0.5 PSI with 0.05 PSI repeatability and a clear ON/OFF slider: press to inflate, release to check. A liquid filled gauge, phosphorescent numbers, stainless steel and 6061-T6 aluminium. A billet aluminium mounting bracket and a 1/4 NPT swivel fitting are included.
APEX PTI Precision Tire Inflator with Mounting Bracket
Inflating with a separate gauge means constant swapping: add air, take it off, measure, add more. Across four tyres that becomes a quarter of an hour.
The PTI joins the two: press the slider to inflate, release it and read the pressure straight away - without taking the chuck off the valve.

Who it is for
For anyone who airs up a full set after a trail and wants to do it with one tool, without juggling a gauge and a chuck. The included bracket means the inflator has a fixed home in the vehicle rather than rolling around the boot.
Installation and notes
Connection to the air source is through the 1/4 NPT swivel fitting, which suits any quick coupler with that thread. The hose can be shortened or replaced with a longer one, sold separately by the manufacturer. The billet aluminium bracket is included and bolts up wherever you choose.
Frequently asked questions
How does it differ from the PPG gauge?
The PPG only measures. The PTI inflates and measures at the same time, and comes with a mounting bracket and a 1/4 NPT fitting.
Is the bracket included?
Yes. The manufacturer supplies a billet aluminium mounting bracket.
Does the PPG Snap Mount fit the PTI?
No. The manufacturer states plainly that the PPG Snap Mount is not compatible with the PTI - the inflator comes with its own dedicated mount.
Which range should I choose?
0-40 PSI for off-road and load range C and D tyres, 0-90 PSI for a tow vehicle and trailer with load range D and E tyres.
