Wild Camp Kolorado II 180 DAY&NIGHT roof top tent - graphite, with anti-condensation mat

When the car stands on an open pitch and the sun rises before five, an ordinary tent gets bright and stuffy long before you want to wake up. The Kolorado II 180 DAY&NIGHT uses a thicker fabric than the standard version - it blocks 80% of the light, reflects sunlight and limits heat build-up.

It is a soft-shell Wild Camp roof top tent with a 180×240 cm mattress over a ventilating mat that prevents condensation. A telescopic ladder opens it, and there is about 130 cm of headroom above the mattress, so you can sit up and change inside.

Key benefits

  • DAY&NIGHT fabric - thicker and more damage-resistant than in the standard tent, it blocks 80% of the light and reflects the sun, so the interior heats up less.
  • Anti-condensation mat under the mattress - lets air circulate under the foam mattress and limits condensation that leads to mould and odours.
  • Ladder-assisted opening - unzip the cover, fully extend the telescopic ladder and use it as a lever - the same ladder then supports the tent.
  • Canvas specification - 600D Ripstop (polyester-cotton), 3000 mm waterproof rating, UV 50+ stabilisation; a black fly sheet with clear-film windows covers the body.
  • Corrosion-resistant frame - three aluminium tubes and stainless steel hinges.
  • Windows and ventilation - mosquito nets and flaps on every window, two roof windows that open even in the rain and four vents in the gable.
  • Heater-ready - closable ports allow an external Webasto-type heater to be connected.

Who it is for

For campers who want a wider mattress than the 160 version offers and often sleep in full sun - on summer trips, beaches and expeditions without shade. At 66 kg and with a 100-120 cm roof bar spacing, it suits a larger vehicle with a strong roof rack.

Mounting and notes

  • The tent mounts on roof bars spaced within 100-120 cm. The tent's mounting profile spacing is 75 cm.
  • The tent weighs 66 kg - check the permitted roof and roof rack load of your vehicle before fitting.
  • The standard 230 cm ladder can be swapped for a longer one on a tall vehicle.
  • Once open, insert the window supports into the floor holes with the V-shaped bend first and tension the fly sheet - the bend directs run-off water away from the interior.

Why choose it

  • A 180×240 cm mattress - 20 cm wider than in the Kolorado II 160.
  • 80% blackout and an anti-condensation mat as standard.
  • Everything in the box: ladder, LED light, supports, cords and shoe bags.

At Szekla4x4.pl - shop and workshop - we will help you choose roof bars or a platform for the tent on your vehicle and advise on fitting.
