A pair of stock-height rear leaf springs for the Suzuki Samurai. They bring back the factory rear ride height and predictable rear-axle behaviour with no geometry changes and no lift-related extras. Rated for vehicles without heavy additional load; bushings are ordered separately.

Suzuki Samurai Rear Leaf Springs — Stock Height, 2 pcs

On a Samurai the rear end always goes first. Short wheelbase, short leaf packs, and every load the car has ever carried works against the arch of the springs. You can see it from the side: nose up, tail down, rear tyres tucked into the arches.

A pair of stock-height rear packs fixes that without redesigning the suspension. You get the factory rear ride height back and a rear axle that behaves predictably again, instead of hoping the old packs will last another season.

Key benefits

  • A matched pair for the whole rear axle, so both sides settle at the same height and the car does not lean.
  • Stock height keeps driveshaft angles and shock travel as the factory set them — nothing extra to buy.
  • OE-style replacement that bolts straight into the standard Samurai hangers and U-bolt seats.
  • Multi-leaf packs with retaining clips and a black protective coating, marked SUZ 002 for the rear position.

What is in the box

  • 2 rear leaf springs (left and right)

Spring bushings are not included and are ordered separately.

Technical data

  • Quantity: 2 pcs (rear axle)
  • Ride height: stock
  • Type: multi-leaf packs with retaining clips
  • Pack marking: SUZ 002 (rear version)
  • Finish: black protective coating
  • Intended use: vehicles without heavy additional load
  • Application: Suzuki Samurai

This is the right part when the front of the car is still healthy and only the rear has given up — the typical outcome after years of carrying luggage and towing. If the front has sagged as well, a full four-spring set works out cheaper.

Fitting notes

  • Bolts into the original mounting points; no welding or drilling.
  • Replace the bushings and inspect the U-bolts while the axle is apart.
  • Check that the shocks are not topping out once the new springs are in.

Why it is worth it

  • A real repair for a sagging rear end, not an extra leaf shimmed into a dead pack.
  • No consequences for geometry or roadworthiness testing — the height stays factory.
  • A simple, reversible job that fits into one day in the workshop.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a pair for both sides?

Yes, the set contains two springs — one for the left and one for the right side of the rear axle.

Do these springs raise the rear above stock height?

No. This is the stock-height version — it restores factory ride height rather than adding lift.

Are bushings included?

No, bushings are not part of the set and must be ordered separately.

Will they suit a heavily equipped vehicle?

They are intended for vehicles without heavy additional load. For a permanently loaded truck, heavy-duty springs are the better option.
