Set of 4 HD Rear Leaf Spring U-Bolts Raptor 4x4 Suzuki Samurai
The rear axle of a Samurai takes the worst of it once the car is loaded: gear, a spare, sometimes a roof rack and a trailer. All of that weight is held in place by a handful of clamps pressing the leaf pack against the axle. Worn, stretched U-bolts are not a cosmetic issue — they are how an axle ends up out of position.
This is a set of four heavy-duty Raptor 4x4 U-bolts for the rear axle. Four pieces cover both sides of the car.

Key benefits
- Heavy-duty construction keeps the leaf pack clamped even with a permanently loaded rear end.
- Four pieces make a complete rear axle set, so there is nothing left to buy separately.
- Fresh, undamaged threads make both the installation and any later suspension work far easier.
- The manufacturer lists compatibility with Suzuki Samurai, SJ and Santana, all versions.

Who it is for. Cars that carry gear and luggage, lifted builds, and anyone changing rear springs who does not want to put old clamps back onto a new leaf pack.
Fitting notes
Make sure the spring is seated on its centre pin, then tighten the U-bolts evenly and alternately. Re-check the torque after the first few hundred kilometres, because a new leaf pack always settles a little. If you are replacing springs on both axles, take the front set as well (RAP-06841).
Why buy it
- Cheap insurance on an expensive suspension rebuild.
- A complete rear axle set in one line item.
- Heavy-duty parts instead of used clamps with unknown history.
Planning a rear spring change? Order the U-bolts with them — they are a single-use item.
Frequently Asked Questions
How many U-bolts are in the set?
Four, which is a complete rear axle set: two per side.
Will they fit the front axle?
No. This is the rear version; the front axle uses set RAP-06841.
Do U-bolts need replacing with the springs?
Yes, that is the recommended practice. Once stretched, a U-bolt never regains its shape and no longer clamps properly.
Which models do they fit?
The manufacturer lists Suzuki Samurai, SJ and Santana, all versions.
How much does the set weigh?
The manufacturer quotes 1.6 kg for the set of four.
