RAPTOR 4x4 winch mounting plate for the Suzuki Jimny JB74 (Sierra), built for the original factory bumper. Made from 5 mm steel and bolted to the chassis rails with 8 mm mounting plates. Fits winches up to a compact Tyrex 8000lb. Once installed, it stays within the body outline, keeping the factory bumper look.

The Jimny JB74's factory bumper looks great, but it won't let you fit a winch without the right mounting plate underneath it. The RAPTOR 4x4 winch mounting plate lets you add a winch without swapping the original bumper for an aftermarket one - and without losing its factory look.

RAPTOR 4x4 (Italy)

Suzuki Jimny JB74 (Sierra, 2018+), original bumper
Material
Steel, 5 mm thick
Mounting
To the chassis rails, 8 mm mounting plates

Winch fitment
Up to a compact Tyrex 8000lb, steel or synthetic rope

The plate bolts straight to the vehicle's chassis rails using 8 mm mounting plates - an important difference from simpler setups that mount only to the plastic bumper: winch loads, especially at an angle, go into the frame rather than into the bodywork. With a winch and fairlead fitted, the whole assembly stays within the bumper's outline and doesn't protrude beyond the vehicle's silhouette - from the outside, the truck still looks like it has the factory bumper.

Who it's for

Built for JB74 owners who want the option to self-recover in the field without replacing the original bumper for a heavier aftermarket one with a built-in winch mount. It suits trips where getting stuck in mud or sand is a real possibility, and where a compact winch needs to fit without changing the truck's look.

Fitting and notes

Proper installation requires cutting a small section out of the bumper's plastic grille - this alters an original part, so it's worth having a workshop do it for a clean, tidy cut. The plate mounts to the chassis rails, so correct torque and a re-check after the first few kilometres matter for safety. At Szekla4x4 we can fit the plate together with a winch and check the mounting after the first off-road trip.

Why it's worth it

  • 5 mm steel, bolted to the chassis rails with 8 mm mounting plates - not just to the bumper
  • Add a winch without swapping the original JB74 bumper for an aftermarket one
  • Stays within the body outline once installed - keeps the factory bumper look
  • Fits winches up to a compact Tyrex 8000lb, steel or synthetic rope
  • Purpose-built for the Jimny JB74 (Sierra) from 2018 - not a generic adaptation

We can fit the plate together with a winch at the Szekla4x4 workshop - just book the installation with your order.

FAQ

Do I need to cut the bumper to fit this?
Yes. Proper installation requires cutting a small section out of the bumper's plastic grille.

Does the plate mount to the bumper or to the frame?
The plate bolts directly to the vehicle's chassis rails using 8 mm mounting plates - it's the plate, not the bumper, that carries the winch loads.

What size winch can I fit?
The plate fits winches up to a compact Tyrex 8000lb, with either steel or synthetic rope.

Will the winch stick out past the bumper once fitted?
No. With a winch and fairlead installed, the plate stays within the bumper's outline and doesn't change its factory look from the outside.

How much does the plate itself weigh?
Approximately 7 kg (without a winch).
