Closely spaced cross bars form a full loading platform along almost the entire roof, so cargo - jerry cans, a tool box, or traction boards - sits supported across its whole footprint instead of balancing on two thin bars. Thick-walled 35×2 mm tubing and welded corner brackets give the frame the rigidity needed for rough tracks and heavier side loads off-road. The surface is sandblasted before powder coating, which improves paint adhesion and corrosion resistance compared with coating straight onto raw steel.
Who it's for
Built for drivers who pack their Jimny for longer off-road trips and expeditions, once boot space runs out. It works well as a base for a rooftop tent, a fuel or water jerry can, a cargo box, or traction boards (e.g. MaxTrax) carried on the roof instead of inside the cabin.
Fitting and notes
The rack bolts to the Suzuki Jimny JB74's original factory roof mounting points - no extra holes need to be drilled into the bodywork. All the hardware needed for installation is included. Given the weight of the rack itself (approx. 20 kg) and the need to torque the mounting points correctly, we recommend having it fitted at a workshop - at Szekla4x4 we can install the rack and re-check the mounting torque after the first few kilometres.

No. This model (RAPTOR 4x4, manufacturer code 60571) is made specifically for the new Jimny JB74 (2018+). The manufacturer offers a separate, different tubular roof rack for the older generation.
