Control Arms
Threaded Steel Bung for 2" Raptor 4x4 Uniball End – 3/4" Thread
A steel threaded weld-in bung made for the RAP-RPRJ9112SP Uniball end. 35 mm tall, 34.9 mm outside diameter, 3/4" right-hand thread. A ready component for building adjustable control arms, rods and suspension links.
Steel Threaded Bung for the 2" Raptor 4x4 Uniball End
When you build your own control arm or link, the joint itself is rarely the hard part – mounting it is. The thread has to be straight, concentric with the tube, and cut so the finished part can still be adjusted for length. A ready-made threaded bung takes that step off your hands.
This is a steel weld-in component made for the RAP-RPRJ9112SP Uniball end. It is 35 mm tall, 34.9 mm in outside diameter, with a 3/4" right-hand thread – slide it into a tube of matching bore, weld it, and the seat for the joint end is done.

Key benefits
- A finished threaded part – no need to turn a bung or cut a thread yourself.
- 3/4" right-hand thread – a standard direction, so length is adjusted by winding the joint end in or out.
- 34.9 mm outside diameter and 35 mm height – concrete figures to work from when choosing tube for an arm or link.
- Steel weld-in construction – a permanent joint with the tube that carries suspension loads.
- Matched to a specific Raptor 4x4 end, so there is no guessing whether the threads will pair up.
Technical data
- Manufacturer part number: RPRJ9112B
- Type: steel threaded weld-in bung
- Height: 35 mm
- Outside diameter: 34.9 mm
- Thread: 3/4" right hand
- Intended for: mounting the RAP-RPRJ9112SP Uniball end
A part for workshops and for people building suspension themselves: control arms for a lift, trailing links, rods for a 4x4 suspension conversion. Paired with the Uniball end it forms an adjustable connection that can be serviced later rather than replaced entirely.
Fitting notes
The bung is meant to be welded in, so set the geometry and check concentricity with the tube before you strike an arc – a thread welded off-axis makes every later adjustment awkward. It matches the RAP-RPRJ9112SP end; with any other joint end, check the thread before ordering. We build and modify control arms in our own workshop.
Why it is worth it
- It removes a machining step from a custom suspension build.
- Known, repeatable dimensions make arm design and tube selection easier.
- An adjustable threaded connection instead of a rigid welded one.
