Control Arms
Raptor Joint 2'' Uniball Arm End – 3/4'' Shank, 7/16'' Bore
A 2'' Raptor 4x4 uniball for building and repairing adjustable control arms: 3/4'' right-hand shank, 7/16'' joint bore and a 50.8 mm wide sleeve. Grease fittings let you keep the joint serviced without taking it apart. Nut and weld-in steel bushing are included.
Raptor Joint 2'' Uniball Arm End – 3/4'' Shank, 7/16'' Bore
A rubber bush damps vibration nicely, but it hates large working angles. As soon as the axles cross up, the rubber twists, fights back and eventually tears. A spherical uniball does the opposite: it lets the arm find its own angle instead of loading the whole structure.
The Raptor Joint 2'' is a spherical arm end that screws into the arm tube through its 3/4'' shank. That makes one part useful both for building arms from scratch and for replacing a tired joint in an existing setup.
Shank thread 3/4'' RH (19 mm) | Joint bore 7/16'' | Sleeve width 2'' – 50.8 mm |
Key benefits
- Wide articulation – a spherical joint does not wind up like rubber, so at full axle cross the arm does not feed extra stress back into the chassis.
- Serviceable without stripping – the grease fittings let you top the sleeve up with an ordinary grease gun, which matters on a vehicle that lives in mud and water.
- Ready to weld – the manufacturer supplies the nut and a weld-in steel bushing with the joint, so you can start on the arm straight away.
- Clear dimensions – 3/4'' RH thread, 7/16'' bore and a 50.8 mm sleeve make it easy to check the part against your own design.
- Rebuildable – a dedicated rebuild kit exists for the 2'' size (RAP-RPRJ9112RK), so the end is not a throwaway item.

Who it is for: anyone fabricating adjustable control arms, workshops repairing Raptor 4x4 assemblies, and owners of lifted vehicles where the factory rubber bushes cannot cope with the suspension travel. In the manufacturer's own catalogue this size appears in the D2800 dynamic links, among others.
Installation notes
The shank screws into the threaded tube of the arm, and the supplied steel bushing is welded in where the joint is mounted – that step needs a welder, so hand it to a workshop if you do not have one. The 10 mm mounting bolt is not part of the kit. For a heavier build, look at the 2.5'' version (RAP-RPRJ9113) with a 1'' shank and a 9/16'' bore.
Why it is worth it
- A spherical joint where the suspension genuinely works at an angle.
- Complete supply: end, nut and weld-in bushing in one purchase.
- Serviceable design – grease fittings plus an available rebuild kit.
If you are building or refreshing adjustable arms, this is the size most people start with.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the weld-in bushing included?
Yes. The manufacturer states that the 2'' end ships with a nut and a weld-in steel bushing. On the 2.5'' version the bushing is a separate item (RAP-RPRJ9113B).
What bolt diameter do I need?
The joint bore is 7/16''. The manufacturer specifies 10 mm bolts and sells them separately – they are not part of the kit.
Can the end be serviced?
Yes. Grease fittings in the housing let you re-grease the sleeve, and a dedicated rebuild kit is available for the 2'' size (RAP-RPRJ9112RK).
How does it differ from the 2.5'' version?
The 2'' end has a 3/4'' thread, a 7/16'' bore and a 50.8 mm sleeve. The 2.5'' version (RAP-RPRJ9113) uses a 1'' thread, a 9/16'' bore and a 63.5 mm sleeve for heavier builds.
Why is the internal bolt sometimes black and sometimes gold?
The distributor notes the internal bolt colour varies between production batches. It has no effect on dimensions or on how the joint works.
