Missisipi II and Hudson tents have a canopy over the entrance where the annex attaches. When you travel without the annex, the fly sheet needs tensioning - otherwise it creases and rainwater gathers in the folds.
This kit gives you two guy lines and two pegs to pull the fly sheet out and anchor it in the ground. Properly tensioned, it sits tight on the tent frame and water runs off.
