A camper built on a Ducato tends to run out of tarmac exactly where the best overnight spot begins — and a winch of up to 12,500 lbs is sometimes the only way back. This mounting plate sits almost entirely behind the factory bumper: only 30 mm of the front of the plate protrudes.

The structure is a single welded piece with no bolted-on sections, which is where its stiffness and low weight come from. It bolts to the frame rails in place of the front bumper beam, using bolts already present on the vehicle — no drilling, no welding. 6 mm structural steel sheet, shot-blasted and finished with a two-layer textured powder coat; a cut-out under the drum makes it easier to clear dirt off the rope.
