A Yukon is a lot of mass to pull once it settles into soft ground — which is why its winch should sit on something genuinely solid. The plate in the STANDARD version takes a winch of up to 12,000 lbs entirely behind the factory bumper of the 2007-2013 Yukon. From the outside, the only giveaway is the fairlead, for which an opening is cut in the number plate area.

The plate bolts to the frame rails and to the front bumper beam — the beam stays on the vehicle in one piece, with nothing cut away. Fitting requires no drilling and no welding. It is made from 6 mm and 8 mm structural steel sheet, shot-blasted and finished with a two-layer textured powder coat. A cut-out under the winch drum makes it easier to clear dirt off the rope.
