The Sprinter leaves the tarmac more and more often — campers and expedition builds on the W907 need a winch just as much as a classic 4x4 does. This plate lets you mount one rated up to 12,500 lbs solidly behind the factory bumper of the rear-wheel-drive Mercedes Sprinter W907 VS30 2.0d.

The structure is welded into a single piece with no bolted-together parts, which is where its rigidity and low weight come from. The material is 6 mm structural steel, shot-blasted and powder coated in a two-layer textured finish. The plate bolts to the chassis rails; fitting requires eight holes drilled from below in the ends of the rails. A cut-out under the winch drum makes clearing dirt off the rope easier.
