Comfort for longer trips
The sleeping area combines a non-deforming foam mattress with an anti-condensation layer. Large windows with mosquito mesh support airflow while helping keep insects outside. Interior storage pockets and an external shoe bag make it easier to keep essential items organised during camp.
The entrance is positioned beneath a covered section of the tent, reducing direct exposure to rain while entering or leaving the sleeping area.
Materials and weather protection
The main tent fabric is a 280G polyester-cotton blend with a stated PU 2,000 mm rating. The flysheet uses Oxford 420D fabric with a PU 2,000–3,000 mm rating. When packed for travel, the tent is protected by a PVC cover.
OFFLANDER recommends reproofing the flysheet as part of seasonal maintenance. Proper care helps preserve the fabric's protective properties over continued use.

Vehicle installation
At 100 kg, the CAHAYA 220 requires careful vehicle and roof-rack compatibility checks. Always verify the vehicle roof load rating and the load capacity of the crossbars or roof platform before installation. The supplied mounting hardware is designed for crossbars up to 3 cm high and 9 cm wide.
Because of the tent's weight, OFFLANDER recommends a 3–4 person installation. Once fitted, remember that the tent also increases the vehicle's overall height and affects aerodynamics while driving.
