MetalCloak Muffler Skid Reinforcement for the Ineos Grenadier

The factory muffler skid on the Grenadier does its job on a gravel road, but it shows its limits off-road: lean it hard on a rock and it bends, and a deformed plate starts pressing into the very thing it was meant to protect. The problem is not that there is no skid — it is that nothing is holding it up.

This reinforcement fits directly beneath the factory skid and takes the impacts in its place. Formed 3/16 inch steel (about 4.8 mm) spreads the load, and fully welded hangers made from the same steel keep the whole assembly where it belongs. The underbody still looks stock.

Who it is for

For Grenadiers driven where the underbody actually touches down – rocks, deep ruts and ledges.
