MetalCloak Rocker Rails with Integrated Step, Ineos Grenadier, Black Powder Coat, Pair

Off-road, a rocker rail has one job: take the rock or the edge of a ledge before the body panel does. The factory steps on a Grenadier will not do that — they are there to help you climb in, not to carry the weight of the truck. These rails do both.

The main structure is 3/16 inch hot rolled steel (about 4.8 mm), built to have the whole side of the vehicle rested on it. The integrated 1/8 inch steel platform has a dimpled, slip-resistant surface, so getting in and reaching the roof stays safe in mud and ice too. This is the black powder coated version.

Who they are for

For Grenadiers driven hard enough that the side of the truck becomes a contact point – in rocks, in ruts, coming off high ledges. But also for daily use: the platform is wide and slip-resistant, so it genuinely helps getting in and reaching the roof, particularly once a lift and larger tyres are fitted. This is one of the few parts that protects the body and changes everyday usability at the same time.

Installation notes

MetalCloak rates the install as easy and quotes 1–2 hours. The mounting plates bolt to the frame at existing locations – no drilling, cutting or welding.

No. The mounting plates bolt to the frame at factory locations and MetalCloak lists the installation as 100% bolt-on, with no drilling, cutting or welding.

Can I still use the factory jack after fitting them?

Yes. The rails have cutouts along the bottom edge that keep the factory jack and lift points accessible.

Is this a pair or a single rail?
