MetalCloak — vented aluminium inner fender panel, pair, Jeep Wrangler JK

This is a replacement panel for MetalCloak inner fender wells — the front section with laser-cut venting and the signature “M". It replaces the solid panel from the base kit.

The point is practical, not just visual: open venting lets heat out of the engine bay. The manufacturer states the temperature can drop by as much as 30°F (about 17°C). The panel covers where cover is needed and is cut away where it only trapped hot air.

Order this panel if you already have MetalCloak inner fender wells and want to add venting. If you do not, you need the MC3291 kit, which we stock and which already includes vented panels.

⚠ Factory fenders — a caveat

The MetalCloak inner fender system is designed around MetalCloak JK and JK Unlimited fenders. The manufacturer notes: “The inner fender well system may be used without our fenders but requires additional drilling and modification." If you run factory or another brand's fenders, contact us before ordering.

FAQ

Is this a complete inner fender kit?

No. It is the front vented panel only, as a pair. The full inner fender kit is MC3291.

Can I fit it with factory fenders?

The panel mounts to MetalCloak inner fenders. Those can be used with factory fenders, but — as the manufacturer says — that takes additional drilling and fitting.

How much does the venting actually do?

The manufacturer quotes a bay temperature drop of up to 30°F (about 17°C). The real figure depends on engine, load and speed — the biggest gain is at low trail speeds where there is no ram air.

Is there a raw version?

The manufacturer offers raw and black powder coat. We stock the black powder coat.
