MetalCloak — 17/32in rivet nut drill bit
Most MetalCloak products that bolt to factory sheet metal — inner fenders, UnderCloak skids, body panels — use rivet nuts. A rivet nut needs a hole of an exact diameter: 17/32in (13.5 mm). That is not a common size in European tool shops, and drilling “close enough" with the nearest metric bit leaves a rivet nut that spins in the hole.
This is exactly the bit the manufacturer recommends.

Why this one
- Parabolic flute — clears chips faster, so the bit runs cooler
- 135° split point — it bites on contact and does not walk; that matters most on curved panels where an ordinary bit skates
- High speed steel with a black oxide finish
- Works well with a hand drill — no press needed

When to order it
With the product you are about to fit — for example the UnderCloak skids (MC3365 / MC3366). A separate shipment from the USA for one small tool makes no economic sense.
