MetalCloak — 62in rear Crawler Caps, Jeep Wrangler JK
End caps for the MetalCloak Frame-Built rear bumper base. They decide how the bumper behaves against an obstacle — their geometry sets the departure angle and whether the corner slides over a rock or catches on it.
Material: 7GA hot rolled steel — about 4.6 mm. That is thicker than most MetalCloak body panels, and it shows what these are for.
What is in the kit
- Driver and passenger cap, 62in across
⚠ Hardware is not supplied with the caps — the bolts come with the Frame-Built rear base. The manufacturer states it plainly: “Hardware is provided with the Rear Frame-Built Base."
? When NOT to choose these caps
The manufacturer is explicit: “Do not choose these caps if you are purchasing the MetalCloak JK Rear Bumper Tire Carrier. If you are purchasing the MetalCloak Rear Tire Carrier purchase the 62in Rear Tire Carrier Caps or the 72in Rear Tire Carrier Caps."
Short version: these caps are for a bumper without a tire carrier. If a carrier is in your plan, you need a different cap. Contact us and we will source the right ones.
⚠ The Frame-Built rear base is required
The caps mount to the MetalCloak Frame-Built rear bumper base for the JK. They are not a bumper on their own and do not fit the Full Duty bumpers (MC3904 / MC3905), which are one-piece designs.
We do not currently list the Frame-Built rear base — contact us and we will quote it together with the caps.

Do they fit the Full Duty MC3904 / MC3905?
No. Full Duty is a one-piece design with its own caps.
I have a spare tire carrier — do these fit?
No. A carrier build takes different caps (62in or 72in Rear Tire Carrier Caps). Contact us.
Is there a raw version?
