MetalCloak — roller fairlead mount, centre kit, Jeep Wrangler JK / JL and Gladiator JT
A bracket for a roller fairlead (steel cable) or a hawse-type fairlead (synthetic rope). It mounts centrally, for winches with a centre-mounted spool.
It is universal — the manufacturer states it fits all winches and can be used on its own or within the Frame-Built bumper system.
Construction
- 3/16in hot rolled steel — the fairlead carries the full line load at an angle, so the bracket has to be stiff
- Centre mount — for a centre-spool winch

⚠ Bumpers bought before May 2014
In May 2014 the manufacturer updated the JK Frame-Built system. This bracket may not fit bases bought before then.

No. This is the bracket for one.
Steel cable or synthetic?
The bracket takes either — it depends which fairlead you mount on it. Roller for steel, hawse for synthetic.
Does it work outside a MetalCloak bumper?
The manufacturer describes it as universal, though it is designed around the Frame-Built system. For another bumper, contact us and we will check the dimensions.
