MetalCloak — front licence plate adapter with quick release
The Frame-Built bumper has no factory place for a plate. This kit uses the existing holes in the bottom angle of the bumper and mounts the plate without drilling anything new into it.
The logic is practical: a plate on the front bumper is the first thing to go — in mud, in brush, climbing a rock. Quick release knobs let you take it off by hand before a trail run and put it back on for the road.

What is in the kit
- Stainless steel plate brackets
- Stainless steel hardware — it will not rust after one winter
- Quick release knobs
- Rivet nuts
- A rivet nut installation tool — included, nothing extra to buy
Two ways to mount it
- Quick release knobs — the plate comes off without tools before a trail run
- Security bolts — a permanent solution if the plate stays put
⚠ In Poland the plate must be fitted and legible while driving on public roads. The knob version is convenient, but it is not permission to drive without a plate.
Fairlead compatibility
The manufacturer notes: “MetalCloak's license plate adapter will work with both MetalCloak's roller or billet fairlead." You do not have to choose between the plate and the fairlead.

FAQ
Do I have to drill the bumper?
Not new holes — the kit uses existing ones. The rivet nuts are set with the supplied tool.
Does it suit a European plate?
The brackets use a standard hole spacing — a two-hole European plate mounts without trouble.
Does it work with a fairlead?
Yes — with both the roller and the billet MetalCloak fairlead.
Does it fit the factory bumper?
No. The adapter is intended for the Frame-Built bumper.
