MetalCloak — Extreme reinforcement bracket kit for the front bumper, Jeep Wrangler JK
The Frame-Built bumper is strong on its own. This kit adds an extra tie into the frame — the brackets bolt directly to the frame and take load that would otherwise sit entirely on the bumper's own fasteners.
The manufacturer does not hedge about who it is for: “If you are an extreme rock crawler that uses your bumper as a wheeling tool, or if you are constantly smashing the front bumper on the rocks, you will want this reinforcement bracket."
