MetalCloak — universal accessory mount for the swing-out tire carrier

A bracket that mounts to the accessory wings on the arm of the MetalCloak swing-out tire carrier. It gives you a flat mounting plate for whatever you want to carry on the back.

The manufacturer lists the typical uses: Can-Cams, jerry cans, RotoPax, Power Tanks.

Construction

• Base plate: 3/16in hot rolled steel
• Accessory plate: 1/8in cold rolled steel
• 1in × .95 wall steel tube
• CAD designed, laser cut — it fits without adjustment

? It does NOT work with the SportGate carrier

The manufacturer states it plainly: “The universal accessory mount DOES NOT work in conjunction with the MetalCloak SportGate Tire Carrier."

This bracket is for the swing-out carrier — in our range, MC3970. If you have a SportGate (MC3956) you need its dedicated mounts, such as MC3952 for a RotoPax can.
