Rocklander Front Hoop 2in Steel Tube Jeep Wrangler JK MetalCloak ARS
Rocklander front hoop for the Jeep Wrangler JK 2007-2018 (2- and 4-door). 2in steel tube, one-piece, bolted to 10 factory points on the windscreen frame with no drilling. Welded 1in grab handles, black textured powder coat. Protects the windscreen frame. Works standalone or as part of the Rocklander / Lo-Pro rack.
Rocklander — front hoop, Jeep Wrangler JK 2- and 4-door
The front hoop is what the whole Rocklander system stands on at the windscreen end. It bolts to ten factory attachment points on the windscreen frame — which is where its rigidity comes from.
Beyond load carrying it does a second job that is easy to overlook: it protects the windscreen frame — the part that catches branches on the trail and is among the first contact points if the Jeep goes over.
The Rocklander system is built by ARS (Adventure Rack Systems) — MetalCloak's sister brand, dedicated to cargo management for Jeeps. Made in the USA.
Construction

It can stand alone
The manufacturer notes the hoop can be used as part of the modular roof system or as a standalone mount. On its own it is already a solid anchoring point for accessories such as a light bar.

Yes — the manufacturer allows standalone use, as an accessory mount and windscreen frame guard.
Does it fit both the 2-door and 4-door?
Yes — the same hoop for both.
Any drilling?
No.
What else do I need for a full rack?
The rear hoop (R55024) and roof trusses — R55020 or R55025. We stock all of them, and there is a complete kit too (R55000 / R55010).
