Rocklander — roof top tent cross beam kit, JK / JL and JT Gladiator
A roof tent needs cross beams at a known spacing — the rack tubes run fore and aft and cannot be bolted through directly. This kit adds two steel channels across, with slotted holes that suit most tents.
The Rocklander system is built by ARS (Adventure Rack Systems) — MetalCloak's sister brand, dedicated to cargo management for Jeeps. Made in the USA.
The number that matters: clamping force
The channels are welded to 2in diameter billet clamps. The manufacturer states the assembly delivers a combined clamping force of over 3,200 lbs onto the Rocklander roof trusses.
That matters because a roof tent with people in it loads the rack horizontally too — in wind, and every time someone climbs the ladder.

⚠ Rocklander roof trusses required
The kit mounts directly to the Rocklander roof trusses. It is not a rack on its own. We stock the complete R55000 / R55010 kits and the trusses R55020 / R55025.
The alternative for a tent is the Mod-Rack Stealth platform (R55061), which gives a full floor instead of two beams. The choice depends on whether you also want to carry other cargo.
