Stock Front Diff Cover Skid Plate - Jeep JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator Rubicon

The factory front differential cover on the Rubicon has an exposed drain plug on its underside - the lowest and most vulnerable point of the whole axle. This 1/4" glide skid mounts over the stock cover and lets the axle slide off an obstacle instead of catching on it.

Gold Zinc finish

Every part is gold zinc plated. Unlike paint or powder coat, zinc protects the steel electrochemically even where it is scratched - and skid plates are scratched from the first trip out. The surface can be painted if you prefer a custom finish.

Two variants - important when ordering

The manufacturer offers two bracket versions: for axles with a factory drain plug (2018+) and for axles without a drain plug (2021+). Our price is for the 2021+ no-plug version. Please state your model year when ordering - if your axle has a drain plug we will ship the correct variant and adjust the price.
