Every part is CAD-engineered, laser cut, welded and finished in-house, and the company backs its structure and coating with a lifetime warranty.

Crawler Narrow Width Rear Bumper - Jeep JL Wrangler

A modular, low-profile MetalCloak rear bumper. Its main benefit is a better break-over angle - it does not hang down like the factory unit, so it does not drag when you come off a ledge. This version has narrow Crawler caps.

The Crawler version is narrower: it stops short of the body corner, so there is nothing to catch on a rock when backing off an obstacle. A technical-driving choice, at the cost of less sheet metal coverage.

Black Textured Powder Coat

The powder coated version carries MetalCloak's signature micro-textured semi-gloss finish. It resists stone chipping and local trail damage can be touched up without refinishing the whole part.

Manufacturer's important notes

Recovery points: the shackle mounts are engineered as recovery points only. The manufacturer states they are not designed for flat-towing.

Spare wheel: a wheel spacer may be required for the spare if using OE wheels.

License plate: installation requires relocating the license plate. We offer the dedicated mount as 6907 - note that it is designed around the US plate format (about 305 x 152 mm). A European plate is 520 x 114 mm and may need its own adapter.

Installation

Easy. No cutting or welding - the bumper uses factory mounting points.

Before painting: the manufacturer requires a test fit on the vehicle before any custom paint or powder coating. Painted parts cannot be returned.

Homologation: this product carries no European type approval. Road legality after installation is decided by the vehicle inspection station; check before buying if in doubt.

Warranty and service

MetalCloak backs its products with a lifetime warranty on structure and coating for the original owner. The warranty does not cover accident damage, incorrect installation or owner-performed modifications. As an authorised dealer we handle the whole claim process for you.
