Rear Bumper License Plate Mount - Jeep JL Wrangler

Fitting a MetalCloak rear bumper means relocating the license plate. This swing-away mount lets you set the plate horizontal or angled for extra break-over clearance. A plate light and wiring are included.

Black Textured Powder Coat

The powder coated version carries MetalCloak's signature micro-textured semi-gloss finish. It resists stone chipping and local trail damage can be touched up without refinishing the whole part.

Important - plate format

The mount is designed around the US plate format, roughly 305 x 152 mm. A European single-row plate is 520 x 114 mm and will not bolt directly to the factory hole pattern. An adapter is normally needed - we can make one or advise on an off-the-shelf solution. Contact us before ordering.

Electrical work required

The manufacturer notes that splicing into the OEM license plate wiring is required.

Homologation: this product carries no European type approval. Road legality after installation is decided by the vehicle inspection station; check before buying if in doubt.
