Front Sway Bar Quick Disconnects 13", Pair - Jeep TJ/LJ Wrangler

Disconnecting the sway bar before going off-road lets the front axle work through its full range - and on a TJ, with its short suspension and light body, the difference in articulation is very clear. The 13" length is for vehicles with more lift; with a smaller lift the 10" version is the right one.

Gold Zinc finish

Steel parts are gold zinc plated. Zinc protects the steel electrochemically even where it is scratched, and the surface stays paintable. On a twenty-year-old Jeep that matters more than on a new one.

Choosing a length: links that are too short preload the bar at rest, too long and it knocks. Tell us your lift height if you are unsure and we will advise.

A note on vehicle age

TJs and LJs are now twenty to nearly thirty years old. Expect seized bolts and corroded frame threads when removing factory parts - soak the joints in penetrant beforehand and use anti-seize on reassembly. Several reviews of TJ parts are really about this rather than about the part.
