Rear Brake Line, Braided, 22" - Jeep TJ/LJ Wrangler
An extended rear brake line in a stainless braid. After a lift the factory line can be too short - at full axle droop it goes taut and can be torn out. One of those parts that is easy to forget during a lift and very serious when it fails.
The stainless braid has a second benefit: the line does not expand under pressure the way rubber does, so the pedal is firmer and more predictable.

Manufacturer's note: "MetalCloak recommends that a certified automotive mechanic perform the installation if you are not experienced with this task." The brake system must be bled afterwards.
Legal note: braided brake lines carry no European type approval and an inspector may question them at a technical inspection.
Installation
Easy for an experienced person. 1-2 hours. Bleeding the system is required.
A note on vehicle age
TJs and LJs are now twenty to nearly thirty years old. Expect seized bolts and corroded frame threads when removing factory parts - soak the joints in penetrant beforehand and use anti-seize on reassembly. Several reviews of TJ parts are really about this rather than about the part.
