Rival 6.0 mm aluminium front arms protection plate for the Nissan Navara D23 2014-2021 2.3d. Covers the exposed suspension parts, fitting kit included.
On the Navara the front control arms reach out past the edge of the engine plate and sit exposed from below, together with the joints and everything around them. A rock that comes in from the side there can do more harm than a hit on the sump, because you only notice the damage later.
6.0 mm aluminium. Rival specifies aluminium at 6.0 mm in silver. It is the thickest material the range uses — a sensible choice on a part that takes impacts at an angle rather than square on.
Installation. The plate ships with a fitting kit and picks up prepared mounting points. Most owners install it alongside the engine plate, since the two overlap in the front protection layout.
Fitment. Nissan Navara (Frontier) 2014-2021 with the 2.3 l diesel. Rival's technical note narrows it to the D23 2.3d from 2015.
If you are building front-end protection in stages, this is the natural second step after the engine plate — it closes what the main plate leaves open.
