There is plenty of room under the Amarok's bonnet, but very little under the sump. One hard rut edge or an unseen rock is enough to leave a mark on the most expensive part of the truck. This Rival plate closes the engine area properly.

4.0 mm aluminium. Rival specifies 4.0 mm aluminium in a silver finish. Aluminium at this thickness weighs noticeably less than a steel equivalent — less load on the front axle and less taken out of the payload.

Installation. A fitting kit is supplied with the plate.

Fitment. Volkswagen Amarok, model years 2010-2016 and 2016-2020, with the 2.0 l and 3.0 V6 diesel engines listed by Rival.
