Rival 6.0 mm aluminium rear differential skid plate for the VW Amarok 2010-2016 and 2016-2020. Protects the lowest point of the rear axle, fitting kit included.
The rear axle comes off an obstacle last, usually right when the driver thinks it is behind them. The differential housing hangs lower than anything else back there, so it takes the hit — and a cracked housing ends the trip on the spot.
6.0 mm aluminium. Rival specifies a 6.0 mm aluminium panel in a silver finish. That thickness makes sense at the differential — it takes loaded sliding impacts, not glancing ones.
Installation. A fitting kit is supplied with the plate.
Fitment. Volkswagen Amarok, catalogue years 2010-2016 and 2016-2020, 2.0 and 3.0 l engines. Rival's technical description for this number lists 2016-2019, so for an earlier Amarok we will confirm the fit against your VIN before shipping.
