Rival 6.0 mm pressed aluminium transfer case skid plate for the Toyota Land Cruiser 76 and 79 from 2023. Covers the lowest driveline point, fitting kit included.
On a body-on-frame truck with live axles, the transfer case is often the lowest point under the vehicle — lower than the axles, lower than the exhaust. Crossing a crest or climbing out of a water crossing, it decides whether you keep moving.
6.0 mm aluminium. Rival specifies 6.0 mm pressed aluminium sheet in silver. The plate covers the transfer case housing and lets the truck slide off an obstacle rather than hang up on the corner of the case.
Installation. A fitting kit is supplied and the plate uses the factory mounting points. No chassis modification.
Fitment. Per Rival's technical description: Land Cruiser 79 Double Cab 4.5 MT 4WD from 2023, Land Cruiser 79 Single Cab 4.5 MT 4WD from 2023, and Land Cruiser 76 with 4.0, 4.5 D and 2.8 D engines, manual or automatic, 4WD, from 2023.
It is the broadest-fitting part in this series — one plate covers both the 76 series and both 79-series cab variants.
