A single plate protects a single spot. The trouble is that the rock which slips past it hits whatever was left uncovered, and on a Ranger that is a lot of hardware. This set closes the underbody in one run of five plates, from the radiator back to the fuel tank.

4.0 mm aluminium. Rival specifies aluminium at 4.0 mm, silver finish. Aluminium is lighter than steel and saves you worrying about a coating once the first serious scrape happens.

Installation. The set ships with a complete fitting kit. If you would rather have the job done by someone who has built the kit before, we run our own off-road workshop in Warsaw and fit these ourselves.

Fitment. Ford Ranger with 2.2 and 3.2 engines (EURO6 included) and the 2.0 TDCi, model years 2012-2015, 2016-2018 and 2019 onwards per Rival's description; the catalogue name lists the ranges 2011-2015 and 2015-2022.
