Four-piece Rival skid plate set in 6.0 mm aluminium for the Ford Ranger: radiator, engine, gearbox and transfer case. The thicker option, fitting kit included.
The same four-plate layout as the 4 mm version, made from thicker aluminium. The difference matters once what hits the underbody is not gravel but rock with a hard edge — and the front section is where those hits land.

6.0 mm aluminium. Rival specifies 6.0 mm, silver finish. Thicker panels stay stiffer across their whole area, so an impact spreads out instead of pushing material towards the component underneath.
Installation. Factory mounting points and a supplied fitting kit. This set does not cover the fuel tank — if you want the tank protected too, look at the five- and six-piece kits.
Fitment. Ford Ranger 2.2 (EURO6 included) and 2.0 TDCi per Rival's description, model years 2012-2015, 2016-2018 and 2019 onwards. The catalogue name also lists a 2.0 l diesel and gives the ranges 2011-2015 and 2015-2022.
