Four plates in 4.0 mm aluminium. Every piece is pressed from 4.0 mm aluminium sheet with a silver finish. At this thickness aluminium absorbs stone strikes and dragging over rock, while staying noticeably lighter than a steel equivalent — welcome news on a truck that already carries gear, a canopy or a roof rack.
