The two-door Wrangler JK is short and agile, which is exactly why people take it where other vehicles turn around. The price for that is paid underneath: everything on the trail finds the underbody, from the steering rods at the front to the fuel tank at the back.
This is full underbody coverage rather than a single plate. The manufacturer lists five parts made of 6.0 mm aluminium, together covering the steering rods, exhaust, engine and gearbox, transfer case and fuel tank.
