Six-piece Rival 6.0 mm aluminium skid plate set for the Ford Ranger and VW Amarok from 2022: radiator, engine, gearbox, transfer case, fuel tank and control arms.
The current Ranger and the Amarok built on the same platform leave the factory with plastic covers that stop being useful at the first real rock contact. This set replaces them with six aluminium plates spanning the whole underbody, from the radiator to the control arms.

6.0 mm aluminium. Rival specifies aluminium at 6.0 mm, silver finish. On a truck that is already heavy in 2.0 bi-turbo or 3.0 V6 form, keeping added underbody mass down has a measurable effect on payload and on how the vehicle behaves on the road.
Installation. The plates use factory mounting points and the fitting kit is part of the set.
Fitment. Ford Ranger and Volkswagen Amarok from 2022, with 2.0 D Bi-Turbo and 3.0 D engines. The kit covers both twins, which is no surprise given the shared chassis.
If a winch or a steel bumper is also on your list, fit the plates during the same workshop visit — the underside is open anyway.
