6.0 mm aluminium Rival 4x4 skid plate set for the Jeep Gladiator from 2018 and Wrangler 2017-2021 (2.0 and 3.6 petrol). Protects steering rods, exhaust, engine, gearbox, transfer case, fuel tank and control arms. Fitting kit included.
A Wrangler JL or a Gladiator goes where other vehicles turn around — and that is exactly where you notice how much hangs unprotected underneath: steering rods, muffler, lower control arms. This Rival set closes the gaps the factory left open.
Rival's catalogue name lists plates for the steering rods, exhaust, engine, gearbox, transfer case, fuel tank and both front and rear control arms. The technical description, however, calls it a six-piece kit and lists a plate for the standard factory bumper instead of the transfer case — a discrepancy in the manufacturer's own data worth knowing about before you order. On these vehicles the arm skids matter more than most: on rock, they are the parts working closest to the ground.
