A complete hard floor under the truck — radiator to fuel tank. Five plates in the thickest version Rival offers for this set, for an L200 that genuinely leaves the tarmac.

6.0 mm aluminium. Rival lists 6.0 mm aluminium in silver. The thicker panel is far harder to deform against a single rock, which on stony ground matters more than the kilos you would save. For occasional off-road use, the same set in 4.0 mm is enough.

Five pieces. Radiator, engine, gearbox, transfer case and fuel tank — none of the vulnerable underbody components is left uncovered.

Installation. Factory chassis points and a supplied fitting kit. Five plates is a few hours of work, so if you want torque figures and clearances checked properly, a workshop is worth the money.

Fitment. Mitsubishi L200 2006-2014, 2013-2015, 2015-2019 and 2018-2023, plus Mitsubishi Pajero Sport 2016-2021 and 2021-, with 2.5 l and 2.4 l diesel and 3.0 l petrol engines. Rival's technical description refers to the L200 / Triton 2.4D and 2.2D, 2015-2019 and 2019-, so older model years need confirming.
