Skid plates bought one at a time have a way of ending up as a full set anyway — just more expensively, and usually after one bad experience. This Rival kit covers the Navara from the radiator back to the fuel tank: five plates under a single part number.

What it covers. Rival lists five plates: radiator, engine, gearbox, transfer case and fuel tank. Together they form a continuous protected run along the underside, with none of the gaps you get when parts are picked separately.

3.8 mm aluminium. Rival specifies aluminium at 3.8 mm thickness in silver. Across five plates the material choice really tells: a steel set with comparable coverage adds a great deal more mass, and in a pickup that is mass you would rather keep for payload.

Installation. A fitting kit for every plate is included. The panels use the points prepared for them in the chassis, so no drilling is required. A full set is a few hours on a lift — our workshop fits these in-house if you would rather have it done.

Fitment. The catalogue name covers the Navara (Frontier) 2004-2010 and 2014-2019 with 2.5 l and 2.3 l diesel engines, while the technical description gives 2.5 D and 3.0 engines for 2005-2015. Those ranges disagree, so check your exact vehicle with us by VIN before ordering.
