Five plates. Radiator, engine, gearbox, transfer case and fuel tank. That is the full length of a pickup underside, from the lower opening behind the bumper to the tank behind the rear axle.

6.0 mm aluminium. Rival specifies 6.0 mm thickness, silver finish. Thicker plate handles point impacts better and flexes less when the truck is dragged across an edge — across five panels that difference shows in how the vehicle behaves on obstacles.

Installation. Every plate comes with its own fitting kit. Everything bolts to the prepared points, with no chassis modification. Set aside half a day in the workshop for the full set.

Fitment. The catalogue name lists the Navara (Frontier) 2004-2010 and 2014-2019 with 2.5 l diesel, 4.0 l petrol and 2.3 l diesel engines; the technical description gives 2.5, 2.5 TD V6, 3.0 and 4.0 for 2005-2015. The two do not line up, so we will confirm your version by VIN.
