Three-piece 6.0 mm aluminium Rival skid plate set for the VW Amarok: radiator with engine, gearbox with transfer case and fuel tank. Thickest option, fitting kit included.
Six millimetres of aluminium along the whole floor is an expedition specification — the setup for people who do not turn back when the track turns rocky. This Rival set covers the Amarok from the radiator to the fuel tank in the thickest material option.
What the set covers. Rival lists three components:
- radiator and engine plate,
- gearbox and transfer case plate,
- fuel tank plate.
6.0 mm aluminium. Pressed aluminium panels, 6.0 mm thick, silver finish. A thicker panel deflects less as it slides over an obstacle — and it is that deflection, rather than an outright puncture, that usually damages what sits above.
Installation. Factory mounting points, fitting kit supplied.
Fitment. Rival's catalogue name covers the Volkswagen Amarok of 2016-2020 and from 2022, while the technical description refers to the 3.0 V6 from 2016. As the 2022-on Amarok is an entirely new vehicle, we will confirm the fit with the manufacturer and against your VIN before ordering.
