The front and centre of the underbody take the most punishment — that is where everything expensive and low-slung lives. This Rival set covers the Amarok from the radiator back to the transfer case with two pressed panels; the fuel tank plate is not part of it.

What the set covers. Rival lists two components:

• radiator and engine plate,
• gearbox and transfer case plate.

4.0 mm aluminium. Panels pressed from 4.0 mm aluminium, silver finish. The pressed shape holds its stiffness without extra bracing, and the material does not rust through a salted winter.

Installation. Factory mounting points and a fitting kit are included.

Fitment. Volkswagen Amarok 2010-2016 and 2016-2020 with the 3.0 l diesel per the catalogue name. Rival's technical description narrows it to the 3.0 V6 from 2016 onwards — for an earlier truck we will confirm the fit before you order.

Rival lists the version that includes the fuel tank plate under a separate part number, so tell us if you want the underbody fully closed off.
