A complete Rival skid plate set for the Hilux in 6.0 mm aluminium — the gauge for trips where the underbody leans on rock regularly and roadside repair is not an option.
6.0 mm aluminium. Rival specifies 6.0 mm aluminium in silver for every plate in the kit. Thicker sheet flexes less and keeps material in reserve after a heavy strike rather than tearing — at the cost of extra mass distributed along the whole underbody.
